Im a Romanian immigrant who came here as a religious refugee, joined the Marines, then went to UC Berkeley and now watching my entire family doing so well because we came here and embraced this country and became as American as it gets.

Wow. I’m truly touched. I absolutely love to hear this. I am a loud and proud American. I love America and am proud to be American. It is truly heartbreaking the amount of Americans who hate it here and want to go somewhere else. Why on earth is everyone trying to COME to America if it’s so horrible here?! At one point in the video you referred to yourself as a foreigner. Nah, bro. You earned your citizenship. You may be an immigrant but you're as American as I am. I don't care where you were born or how old you were when you got here. You're one of us now. And I'm damned glad to have you.

My husband came here from Germany 40 years ago. He loves this country and even won an award in our small town, for being the most patriotic citizen! He grew up in Berlin and his family got separated by the wall in the 1960's. He understands the meaning of freedom...unlike our own citizens.

A real patriot, is someone who appreciates the nation, for its faults and its triumphs. Many will fault you for not mentioning the struggles we face but a true patriot will see those struggles and make the choice to find the solutions. They will motivate the people to push for better and hold firm to what we believe. We will not always agree but we must always remain united. United We Stand, thank you for standing with Us.

I live in Chicago...nearly in the suburbs. My father was from Italy and my mother was from England. They immigrated legally to America and i am first generation born here...i am 64 y.o. now. I agree...I want our country back the way it used to be! 😢

Thank you for your message. My dad had a third grade education. He had six children. He was able to buy a two bedroom home. We worked hard and five out of six of his children became homeowners. He in his later years became an American citizen. His children were so proud of him. This is a wonderful country.
