I saw this last week with my son’s high school band at Gershwin theater as part of our trip for the band to play at the St Patrick’s Day parade. It was my first time seeing this and I was taken aback when the crowd erupted in applause when the curtains were lifted. 😅 I thought to myself I oh I’m surrounded by fanatics! I really enjoyed it.

Saw her in last Thursday’s performance (my first time seeing Wicked.) At first I was slightly concerned when I found out that such a major role would be played by “just” a standby, but she very quickly proved I had nothing to worry about… she was phenomenal! And McKenzie was absolutely perfect as Glinda.

IMHO the Broadway Orchestra has been on the decline over the past... 12 years? But from 7:24 on they sound incredible, ESPECIALLY those horns 🥵
