I'm Ghanaian, I didn't go to university or college, but through your ministry and your works, I'm able to understand English and I'm able to read and explain texts. Currently going through the New Testament in its world. God bless you for your faithfulness.

  • Teaching his disciples how to pray, Jesus said the following: "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." Since this, amongst other things, is what we are to pray for as followers of Christ. What does that mean, and how will it happen? First, it presupposes that not everything that happens on the Earth is his will, but he wants it to be the case, so we need to ask and continuously ask God that he would accomplish his will, and what is his will? His will is that his kingdom would come and that his will would be done on Earth, just as it has always been done in Heaven. For that to happen, people's hearts need to be changed and begin to agree with God, and want what God wants. For this to happen, the following needs to happen: "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14). The gospel of the kingdom needs to be preached all over the world until the sands of time come to an end. "After the arrest of John, Jesus went into Galilee and proclaimed the gospel of God. 15 “The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!” (Mark 1:14-15) For the kingdom to come, people need to hear the gospel, to believe in it, and to repent. When that is fully accomplished the Kingdom will come on Earth. However, as I said before, not everything that happens on Earth is God's will. He doesn't force anyone to believe and do what he wants, to repent. Many won't, but those who do will inherit the kingdom (1 Corinthians 6:9; Ephesians 1:13-14). So concerning the verse NT Wright discussed in Acts 1:6: "So, when they had come together, they began asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time that You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?”" What was Jesus' response? "“It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.” (Acts 1:7-8) Jesus in essence told them that when it happens should not be what they should be concerned about. They should be concerned about preaching the gospel all over the Earth. It is up to the Father to decide when the Kingdom will be restored to Israel. It won't happen until the end when everyone who needs to hear the gospel shall have heard it and have had enough time to respond to it and repent. God is not in a hurry for the end to come. " Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6 through which the world at that time was destroyed by being flooded with water. 7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly people. 8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance." Jesus' disciples sincerely believed that Jesus would return during their lifetime. They were obviously wrong God doesn't want anyone to perish. He wants as many people as possible to repent. We, his people need to do his will. We need to go and make disciples by preaching the gospel and teaching the new converts everything that Jesus wants them and us to know and do (Matthew 28:19-20), so that the Church may be united in faith, built up, and become mature into all of his fullness (Ephesians 4:12-13), which won't fully happen until Jesus returns.
  • No shit, indeed have it in the bible but you can't live just by the bible itself! Think about it ! Just came automatically, indeed because the bible is what connects too, it is the law, but the law is applied in the FAITH! Bible is good and motivational, relaxing, but indeed, what after this? There is nothing but this! seriously! It is the covenant that is Israel in CHRIST! It is not idolatry to the bible! bible is just a book IT is internal presence that has to exist not the external book alone! it has to come out of love and communion the searching in the bible!
