Clearly and absolutely a genuine WWII era flame thrower in my opinion. Nice vid. You should do a vid of you lighting all kinds of stuff on fire with it.

@omgitsangers I think you're thinking about the xenomorph in the first ALIEN film. In ALIENS, they seem to not like fire very much at all. The Colonial Marines roasted a chestburster (pissing off the entire hive). Ripley battled the Queen using a flamethrower, and later scorched the Queen's face with a welding torch. In ALIEN 3, Ripley mentions that the xenomorphs avoided fire.

@thatonekid30 They stopped as it was running empty. Man-portable flame throwers only give you about 20-30 seconds of fire before you have to dump your tank (usually the size of a large fire extinguisher bottle or oxygen bottle and need to be worn on the back. In fact, most flame throwers use 2-3 tanks and don't throw the flame that far because they're used now for controlled burns in rural environments.
