1.6.3 Vertical Item Conveyor (Ladder Based)

Published 2012-11-22
A new type of item elevator that requires only 2 pistons and ladders. Edit: lol didnt expect it to get this popular. I did it with the two pistons because thats how i accidentally did it the first time.
EDIT
This is working on 1.6.3 still a cheap way of moving items.

GenerikB army incoming... This is cool man, much easier than the alternative.
  • @Bastiaan Wuisman it does work with non-transparrant block aswell... the reason why the blocks go to the side is that by pushing them sideways you give them momentum and that will get increased when they are going trough the blocks... to fix this just push them from below. ps my mobile went all crazy so thats why this is in 2 masseges

You may have just discovered the best thing. ever.

This is an efficient version, please refrain from posting negative comments referring others to another video.

you can't have a room in the cross around the block colum that carries it up... the piston arm is a "room" where the blcok can go, you need to have the piston underneath
  • @Vierhoek
Just replace the glass with a full block and replace the ladders with glass, works aswell
  • @Ryanj2610
They are not climbing the ladders... They are just doing what any other transparent block would do in that situation
