In the video you can listen to my interpretation of the magnificent hymn "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty", based on German choral "Lobe den Herren, den mächtigen König der Ehren" by Joachim Neander published in 1680.

The text paraphrases the Psalms 103 and 150.

I play it on hauptwerk system, Schwindler console, sample sets of the Walcker organ, Martinikerk, Doesburg.

Happy listening!

Oggi pubblico un video con la mia interpretazione organistica di un inno che adoro “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” (in Italia “Lodate Dio”), basato su un corale tedesco di Joachim Neander del 1680, il cui testo parafrasa i Salmi 103 e 150, buon ascolto !

  • Luca it's a blessing listening to this hymn... and fantastic to see how you use hands and feet to praise the Lord with the Organ.

Ponder anew, what the Almighty can do, who with His love doth befriend thee! Well played and great registration.
  • Thank you very much for playing that hymn - we sang that at my wedding in 1972.  It is one of my favorites.  Wonderful playing.  Wonderful sound.
