You know, I have to tell you. I have NEVER spent this much time looking at comments, and responses to comments. This is absolutely one of the ten best organizing videos on YouTube. If not top five.
  • "It doesn't have to look like art in your kitchen drawer!" Instantly hit the like button

What I really appreciate about this video is that it truly is a small kitchen. She showed great solutions to a challenging space. I’ve been so frustrated with small kitchen organizing videos for kitchens that are huge compared to mine! I also appreciated her bloopers. We’re all human and the bloopers made me like her more and want to give her a hug!
  • @glovalova
I really appreciate this REALISTIC organization! All the “small space” videos aren’t small and they all have expensive uniform containers, etc. I think these tips will really help me.
  • Thank you! Finally organizing tips for ordinary people who don't have $50,000 kitchens. Great use of available space. 💚

Excellent Video! One hint so your trash doesn't get smelly in the coat closet: A friend of mine usually has a big zippy bag in the freezer where she puts all leftover food so it is frozen until she can throw the bag in the outside garbage. :)

I wish she could come to my house! My Kitchen is mid 1950's with NO FRILLS, no pantry, not even a dishwasher! On top of that, I LOVE to cook and to bake. Her energy is inspiring! Pantry? In my dreams! Broom closet? In my dreams too!
  • Omg I kind of want to cry. Lol I've been stressing about my small kitchen & after seeing this video I feel like its so doable. I just didn't know where to start! Thanks
  • I used a $1 curtain rod, and $1 clear shower curtain hooks to hang my coffee mugs under my cabinets, which cleared up A LOT of cabinet space
  • Placing parchment/baking paper on the tops of high cabinets will collect all of the grease, dust etc in a kitchen and will make cleaning so much easier. When cleaning, just (carefully) remove the paper, wipe down as usual and replace the paper again. I also made the most of that blank space at the end of our kitchen cabinets, nearest the door where the cabinets end, by fitting a Sunnersta rail from Ikea. This allowed me to hang a cotton, three pocket organiser which I use to store my electronic scales and favourite recipes. On this rail I also added two Sunnerta clip-on containers, making a great home for frequently used items like my kitchen timer. Thank you for your video, it's so great to see a video showing an actual small kitchen, so many videos refer to a small kitchen when it has an island and is twice the size of ours :) Thank you, and Tasha, for sharing x
  • This was one of the best videos of this type. The fact that you have a small kitchen of your own makes it so relatable! Thank you!

It was such a joy to watch your presentation. You speak so well and exude so much joy in your message that not only your ideas but your spirit is uplifting. You think out of the box and have created many useful methods of encouragement that I hope to employ. Thank you for your freshness which makes you stand out in the crowd of same subject YouTubers. You’re teaching this 81 year youngster lots of new tricks as I downsize my home.

In my small coat closet turned into a pantry with shelves I used a clear see through over the door shoe holder. It holds my tin foil and baggies and such. Also easy snack area for grandkids. Extra spices. Rolled kitchen towels. So much more.
  • Our daughter's kitchen is similar. We bought her a large cutting board at a yardsale. She can store it vertically, but she can place it across her sink & it creates more counter space when cooking.
  • @mackenzie98
I like that you’re in an apartment because I am too and all those other organization videos (which are great), have so much more space than I do. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻
  • There's a "magnetic stove shelf" that can give you added storage. There's also a magnetic shelf that you can attach to a refrigerator.
  • Hi good on you, awesome ideas 💡. I live in the tropics so heat and dust are bad here . Always cleaning top of fridge and upper cabinets . Good hack is I store all my flours , breadcrumbs, baking stuff icing sugar etc in zip lock bags in the freezer shelves it’s so much better and freed up space .Also lasts for ages no more weevils or bugs 👍👍

LOVE what you've done with your kitchen! I would hang the paper towels on the wall to the right of the sink to get it up and out of the way.
  • The paper towels....at Walmart you can get one that mounts under the cupboard above you sink and the roll has a mechanism that allows you to only get one at a time without unrolling the whole thing...and you can do it one handed😊👍

I really love some of these ideas and will be implementing them in my small kitchen. (Some, I've already incorporated for years!) One thing I do that might be helpful...I use command hooks on the inside of an upper cabinet door and hang my measuring spoons and cups (with handles) separately on their own individual hook. One, it gets them out of a drawer. Two, I can easily locate and use the measurement tool I need without having to take them off of a ring. Three. I can hang multiples of the ones I use frequently in a same recipe (ie tsp, tblsp, cup, and half cup) to speed up prep time.
