Inside the NBA feels like a bunch of friends talking about basketball... but also like they take the game seriously as its former all time greats talking about the game
  • @MrGoldmember2
I skip nearly all network pre and post game coverage. I get my analysis from podcasts and video coverage like this show. I go to sources who know my team in detail or know the game I’m watching analytically. The networks don’t do this good enough to warrant my interest
  • ESPN continues to trend closer to WEE than sports media. They embrace and drive their "characters" and hot take machines. They spent the second half of the Knicks game celabrating and glamourizing the Knicks rather than give credit to the Greatest playoff shooting performance ever.
  • @JeremyKasperson
ESPN focuses far too strongly on whatever teams or individuals the marketing department says has the largest fan base. T-Wolves were one of the best teams all year, and barely any national fans know about them.
  • @TheRealGotham
And us Knicks fans don’t like him. He is a front runner
  • @DannyXXXXX
Tim Legler just said he wasn't allowed to talk about the Pacers this season from ESPN.

And… TNT inside the NBA is a perfect example of objectivity that we can love and laugh at
  • @tonymcfly84
Billy Greg and Stu all being on the same page is always genius comedy
  • @briant.8553
Pablo hit it on the head and for the record TNT has the same problem. NFL doesn’t have all that goofy stuff and silly banter. Everything is about the game and nothing else.

The “old” media is dead. The new media is are independent bloggers because those in the traditional media do not have the integrity to do what is best; just to protect the network’s brand.
  • @Noeau
Good that Le Batard joined Dan Patrick and Rich Eisen blasting Knicks centric broadcast by ESPN. This should stunt Stephen A from justifying their slanted coverage and blasting his critics for speaking the truth.
  • @LiKeMiKe103
Greg Cote is right. Analytics and data that WE don’t need to know about is killing the sports game for causal viewers and fans
  • @andrewyoung6484
On the games, I want a customizable screen. For baseball you can turn off K zone and launch angle stats. Like in video games where you can turn on and off your map in the corner.

Many people keep expressing nostalgia for the NBC Sports Group's last stint with the NBA, but if the NBCSG gets back into the NBA with the Roundball Rock song, things aren't gonna be like they were in 2002, when the sports division last had NBA rights. The media environment has changed a ton since then.

Thank you Dan for being the voice of reason, no one cares about the Knicks except NY. They compete like never before and loose like always.

LeBatardShow, This is great! I liked it and subscribed!

Where was these complaints when everything was about Lebron and the Heat 10+ years ago
