We survived in an Igloo!

It took us 3 hours to find the boys but it was worth it.

I can make a Igloo/quinzhee starting from the spring last the whole entire summer, and into fall until the next winter starts. All you need to do is add 20 layers of UV protection, white tarp to cover the igloo and then secure it so the wind from the outside doesn’t blow inside the covers and blows the covers away then next make sure your igloo is icy from the beginning by adding water to make the structure of the snow solid so it can last even longer automatically. And then last, but not least make sure your igloo or Quinzhee from the inside is at below freezing before covering the igloo. You should try to get a thermometer and put it in your igloo so you can see at the end of the year what’s the temperature results is and that it is still remaining around the freezing mark the whole time if you would ever attempt to try that. I experienced it with even just 2 UV protection, white tarp, and it dealt with plenty of 17°C/62°F weather days for a good while without it shrinking or collapsing.
