  • Good to see you making a difference General, also I just got word that a settlement needs our help, I’ll mark it on your map. This is how we’re going to take back the Commonwealth, one small victory at a time.

I've never played this game before yet watched the whole video and was fascinated. It's funny to me how the artists and modelers put so much energy into creating the destroyed structures, only for players to try to make it look as perfect as possible.

Fallout is awesome for just spending your day doing settlements like this aligning everything. Especially during Quarantine.

Finally, someone else who considers the front door to be the main door.

can you imagine sleeping in those barracks and waking up to laser fire

I'm not going to line up all the planks for the sake of the length of the video....... proceeds to OCD the beds
  • @LordParticle
when the thumbnail isn't clickbait but a cool pentagonal settlement
  • @BlackAndTeal904

I hate how you can't like fix the wall or something it would be so much better if you could repair the wall
  • @Ziallow
Take a shot every time he says perfectly
  • These wall repair techniques have improved a LOT since 2016: You are better off building your 2x2x5 concrete foundation sections away from the castle wall and group selecting them to move them in place and align them using "the pillar glitch". Your resulting wall will be MUCH nicer as a result with no gaps between levels, nor side gaps, which he avoided by not aligning the foundation blocks with each other and creating a gap between layers. You can even go a bit further and play grouping games to allow you to add an additional layer on the bottom to give you a smoother floor that you can snap gates to before grouping everything and moving it into place. To be fair... This was one of the earliest castle builds I took inspiration from after getting Fallout 4.
  • we need Bob Ross narrating this. "we'll just place a happy little light over here. Yea, really makes you feel good doesn't it?"

I found a way to make the shack foundations poking through the armory ceiling look good. 1. Place the 3 foundations down like he did, and you shouldn't be able to make a square out of it. 2. Go under through the armory, and keep fiddling around with the 4th foundation in the empty space. After awhile you should be able to place it, and voila, you have the pathway looking normal without holes and the armory has a grey ceiling.

This is by far the best wall repair video I’ve seen. Well done!

I've started fortifying my settlements with concrete walls, on top of the defense structures that I already build. Those consist of the 4-post floor/ceiling wood pieces, all around the perimeter of the settlement, leaving just enough room for the 1/4 floor planks you used for turrets (I use them for the same thing). This was very cool. Thanks.
