OK HIIII! I saw that you shared my track and I just gotta say THANK YOUUU 😊 I love when people share my music! All of the artwork during that moment is awesome and very fitting! I absolutely love it!
  • @ratz.theguy
9:00 I think the reason she freaked out like that is because the abomination alarm sounded the same like the one she had in her phone, which she was constantly hearing the entire day reminding her of the tradition.
  • @donovan802
I felt the immediate urge to give Luz a hug. And as many have pointed out, Luz’s voice breaking and her inability to stand, as well as Amity’s shocked face upon hearing this. It broke me.

This episode was one of the most darkest ones yet Rip To Luz Dad still can’t wait for more episodes on Saturday
  • Imagine if they pulled a Craig of the Creek, by Luz saying that before he died he gave her the first volume Azura book that got her into fantasy. Like Kelsey's mom before she passed. Edit: I love it when I'm right
  • I actually think that Luz got overwhelmed and reacted by saying “get out of my head!” because the siren sounded very similar to her reminder ring tone!
  • @donovan802
I never considered the siren to be symbolic of her father’s passing assuming an ambulance came to his aid. That’s very interesting. Now normally, I would say it would be interesting to get a flashback on how Luz and Camila witnessed this moment, but considering many have clarified that this whole thing is indicative of Dana’s dad passing, I don’t want to unintentionally crave something that could potentially hurt Dana mentally unless she’s fine with it. The fact she wanted to present this is strong already, but I don’t want to her to feel obligated to discuss this if she isn’t comfortable with it. In short, it’s her decision on whether or not she chooses to discuss this more via Luz and her dad, and I’m fine if she chooses to or chooses not to.
  • After this episode and knowing Camila is scared for Luz’s safety this shows a whole new meaning to her begging Luz to come home and never leave her beyond just a parent wanting their child to be home and love them.

I was around the same age when I lost my dad to a car crash as well, ironically enough. I am 25 now and that loss is still sticks with me to this day. But that's why the episode hit hard for me personally, because I saw a lot of my own coping skills in what Luz has done this episode.

Secret code message as of Reaching Out: Seething seas and puppet strings, he no longer dreams of kings. As above rush... This was one heck of an episode when it came to Luz and Amity. The revelation of Luz's father passing away was shocking. Glad to see I'm not the only one that saw the abomaton's alarm reminding Luz of her truama along with her constant escapism. Losing a parent or loved one will always be hard, no matter who you are. It was also nice to see Amity and Alador try to mend their relationship at the end. The warning that Warden Wrath mentioned about the witches "uniting" with the titan on the Day of Unity and that some witches are not conviced that the day is a good thing further pushes the idea that Belos will cause a genocide of all witches. Can't wait for "Them's the Breaks Kid" up next.

At first I was frustrated with Luz once again lying to Amity despite this being addressed a few epioddes ago... then she revealed why she was acting strange and I instantly felt my heart shatter.
  • The purple “balloon” and the purple jar was just such a cute detail.
  • @Nobody-dy3oe
The part where Luz says “get out of my head” the alarm on the abomaton is similar to the one on her phone for the event so initially thought that was why she said it
  • @WillowPotter27
My fav episode so far. I've never related to a character so much as I do to Luz. I lost my father a few years back and it's not as painful now, but the day he passed is always the hardest. Good on the show for going into something so many of us have to deal with at some point.
  • I won't lie, i did shed a boat load of tears for Luz when she revealed that he father passed away. but hey everyone in the world has lost one loved one or another. Anyway as usual the Lumity moments so far just keep getting better and better especially for this episode i was glad that at least one of Amity's parents finally knows about her relationship with Luz .
  • @theluigifan1
I’m fond of these character-driven episodes and love them just as much as the lore-heavy episodes! Plus that FMA-ass blushing and pointing moment with Amity made my heart so fulllll 😭
  • @thegayghost872
One thing I wanted to point out was Alador calling Luz “Edalyn’s kid”. Does he think she’s Eda’s daughter?
  • @TheEnbyVixen
I love that the vase Luz's mom put the flower in is in the Abomination colours.
  • @owlgeek4936
An emotional episode. I did enjoy it though, and yet I still missed a lot that was covered here. One thing I did notice was that the vase that Camila put her flower in was almost exactly like the abomination balloon Luz and Amity used to send her flowers into the world. A small detail, but I really loved it
  • @johnhayward998
I really like how alador stepped up as a dad for amity it does show him as the better person than odaila
