  • I know this video is a bit old, but I just wanted to say this about deep oil cleansing: I feel like you get the best results if you massage the oil for like 20 minutes (although 10-15 minutes is what's generally recommended. You could do that while watching an episode of a TV show, if anyone else is around to hit play and pause while your hands are covered in oil lol I try to do a deep oil cleanse once a week, in the evening. Even if I don't get a ton of stuff coming out on my hands, it does seem like it still helps a lot with blackheads and sebaceous filaments. In addition to a deep oil cleanse once a week, I use the oil cleanser as the first step in a "double cleanse" process. I'll only massage it into my skin for like a minute, adding water as I go along so it creates a milky lather, and then rinse it off before using a regular facial cleanser to get the rest of the oil off. I hope that makes sense?

Ok well you had me laughing and just love your personality I'm 63 and found you very entertaining. You see I tried the oil skin gritting melting yesterday and found its something I'll do weekly the only difference I used sweet almond oil (dry skin) for 15 minutes once that was wiped off with a hot damp cloth I used a mild facial scrub while I used a spa facial steamer over all during my oil treatment I had 3 oil plugs come out and after the steamer I was able to easily extract 5 blackheads. But I'm definitely subscribing to your channel!

This 'melting blackheads' thing isn't exactly new. Blogger FiftyShadesOfSnails made a blog post called 'How To Shrink Pores (temporarily)'' which includes a treatment similar to this one. Basically apply BHA > wait 20 min > apply clay mask over it > wait how long your clay mask instructions tell you to > rinse > Apply cleansing oil > wait 15 minutes > Massage and eventually rinse. I've used it multiple times and my skin looks so clear afterwards, especially my nose. Maybe try it this way sometime?
  • @ygsstaff4096
Isn't that just dead skin or maybe the debris of the clay mask? Also: (BTS song Butterfly) I was totally singing..
  • @chanasempai
You're the funniest beauty blogger I've ever seen 😂
