As an licensed esthetician I thank you guys for this video cause sometimes people don’t trust me as a professional so hearing actual doctors being pro microneedling is HUGE
  • You guys are awesome! I’ve been searching for some clear and cohesive advice about micro-needling for a few months now and this video was great!
  • Seem to be one of the most trustworthy sources for unbiased information. Thank you
  • @td2471
I cannot believe I came across this video. Super informative and even better by real dermatologists. Thank you guys 😊
  • I’ve had pretty much every facial going, and I can say with certainty that the microneedling has had the best effect long term on my skin. It got rid of my acne scars, hyperpigmentation, reduced pore size and fine lines around my eyes. I had to have multiple treatments but I’m going to keep this one up forever
  • @ntn45
thank god these two made a video about this since they are my routine gods! so excited to see what they'll say <3

Thanks for discussing micro-needling. I haven’t tried it yet because I didn’t want to damage my skin. I have a roller that hasn’t been used because I always have this lingering thought of damaging my already aging skin 😊 I definitely like the stamping method with disposable tips. I am going to try this out. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 Also, thanks to Dr. Shah for letting us know that optimistic people are late 😂 I can’t wait to inform my husband that there is absolutely nothing wrong with me always being late; I mean, I am just an optimist!!! As always, you two are greatly appreciated for sharing your knowledge of skincare. I love this channel.
  • Love ur honesty and how u want us to have home gadgets that are safe and show us how to use them, ur my heroes!!
  • Perfect timing! Literally about to leave for my microneedling appointment!
  • @The.ModernMan
I liveeee for microneedling. Glad to see derms not immediately shut it down. I always suggest people get it done first if they are nervous, so they can get a feel for it and see a professional do it.
  • @PinkSwann
I literally just reached out to Dr. Shah to ask about this. Glad I had the good sense to look in YouTube to see if I there was already a video. Thank you!

Thanks for this! I’d love to see a series of videos on in-office procedures, what they are for, what to expect, risks, benefits, etc. I get emails from my dermatologist’s office for this or that procedure but they are mostly marketing and quite vague on the details. There are also sometimes different treatment choices for the same condition and it’s difficult to compare them and figure out what might hold the most benefits with the least amount of pain, downtime etc.
  • I started with a dermaroller at home 0.5 and I didn’t notice a big difference and also got an infection because I imagine I hadn’t cleaned and sterilised properly. Now I have a Dr. Pen at home device and it’s been one of the best things I’ve ever done for my skin. The Dr Pen has a dial so you can adjust the depth and super easy to use. My skin is tighter, younger, plumper and healthy looking. I am 53 and a skincare junky these days. This is definitely worth it. Too expensive in salon when it’s so easy to do yourself.
  • I started microneedling at home at 27. Now, about 5 years later, I'm almost 32 and my skin still doesn't have a single wrinkle. I use sunscreen and retinol, too. Keep your skincare simple and be consistent. That's enough.
  • @allegra1952
Thanks! I had microroller treatment at MD office more than10 yrs ago! And after I learn how to manage, I did at home! Years later I found Dermapen more safe! And I am happy with it! I never bleed, (home treats) I believe it’s not necessary to be effective! Thanks 🙏🏻 ❤
  • Thank you for sharing your insights on at-home microneedling! I've been using the Banisher at-home derma stamp from Banish Acne Scars for years and I swear by it for lessening the appearance of my acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, brightening and plumping my skin. I'm someone who cannot afford in-office treatments, so at-home alternatives are important for me.
  • @GlmrGrl98
I love all of this!! I am a nurse practitioner with experience in dermatology for a few years and I am a big supporter of treatments
  • A video on microneedling vs microdermabrasion vs laser treatments for large pores or even chemical peels would be awesome! Trying to figure out what procedure I should do :)
  • @roseaustin8366

  • Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I’ve been waiting for this video for a while. Thank you!
