Could the PS5 PRO & XSX 2 be Coming in 2023?

Published 2022-06-01
Whelp, let the chatter begin. Gamespot recently released an article reporting that Chinese tech giant TCL expects the PS5 PRO and XSX 2 to be coming in 2023 or 2024. They also raised eyebrows by predicting said consoles to be capable of 4K/120Hz with 8K resolution even being possible.

So, what do you think? Legit story? Nonsense? Let me know down below!

Can you tell the difference between 4k and 8k? I really wonder what is going to happen next… The PS5 generally hits what FPS with most triple A games at 4k?
  • Sony has said nothing about a PS5 Pro and Microsoft also has said nothing about a upgraded XBOX so I would honestly take it with a grain of salt at this point. Now maybe 2024 we could see something but with Chip shortages ect I wouldnt hold my breath. Hell in my area here in Oregon you cant find either console because they cant keep what they get in stock!! The ONLY place I know where I can get a PS5 is Aarons and with what they are charging no thanks I will stick with my Limited Edition PS4.

Yea… what good is new, powerful hardware if game developers don’t take advantage of it? We already see it happening now with the PS5 and Series X. Games are still in this last gen and current gen development hell. Pandemic set everything back 2 years. It will be well into 2023 before we completely move on from last gen so getting a PRO system seems unlikely for now.
