In this video, we hike through Buckskin Gulch, one of the world's premier slot canyons, weaving through the deep crevices and narrow passageways of the American Southwest (border of Arizona and Utah). We head deep into the heart of the canyon, where sunlight casts a kaleidoscope of colors, creating a mesmerizing play of light and shadow on the sandstone. The echoing silence of Buckskin Gulch, punctuated only by the soft tread of our boots, enhances the surreal beauty and timelessness of this natural wonder. We only hiked about 3 miles into this fantastic canyon, but I would love to go back and do more in the future. Let us know what you think in the comments!

  • Note to self - prepare to eat less pizza to fit through some of those passages. Looks incredible!

Ja, wunderschön! Bin den Slot Canyon vor 30 Jahren mehrmals gegangen: No cars, no people, no ladder, no permit!
  • @rhondaz356
That's some canyon! I had never heard of a slot canyon. WOW, some of those openings appeared very narrow. Those flash floods are scary. Thanks, Josh, for taking us on another, amazing adventure. EVERYwhere you go, you ALWAYS find so many positives. 👏🏻👏🏻😃☺️🌞

It’s about time a ladder was put up. I’ve seen far too many YouTube videos of hikers scrambling up and down that drop. Great video. Thanks!

I have never been to a slot canyon- just wow! Looked epic. Thanks for sharing!

Being allowed to go there is in itself a privilege but having it all for yourself is a double reward 🤩. Can never get enough of those landscapes! The colors, the details, the shapes...Amazing views as always &... still on my to do list. Thanks for the company 👍
  • Oh my goodness! This place is incredible! This is an absolute MUST in our future! Thank you Josh😄!!!
  • We did this hike a few years ago, in early November. We even had our dog with us as this time of year, the weather is super mild. Always check the weather before you so. This is one of my favorite hikes ever.

dang a lot less people than antelope canyon. Just as amazing and I bet a whole lot of cheaper.
  • @sistersofstyle
My mom ex boyfriend and I used to hike this and take guests back in the late 90’s! No ladder then! Thanks for being able to see this again!
  • Nice man, I’ve never gone that far into the buckskin part, but I’ve done the Paria part, probably even cooler, def need to backpack it! Camp by the confluence. Cheers!
  • @carolineray2155
Backpacking the nearby Paria Canyon is also amazing. Watch out for snow melt!
  • @qualqui
Such beautiful scenery, Pops didn't want to do the hike? Its his loss. 😂👍😊
  • Wow in a way this Canyon was a good as Antelope Canyon! The Waves were good! Thank you so much Josh!❤️😀🇺🇸
  • What an incredible place. Of course it’s right next to the wave. I would love to see the wave in person one day. My knees are pretty messed up due to a bad car accident on the 101 a few years ago so I can no longer rock scramble. But I’ve done antelope canyon a few years back. That was a dream come true. Thanks for sharing this one.
