Alison has the voice of an angel. Robert is one of my favorite lead rock vocalists of all time. God had to be involved in putting these two together.

Robert Plant still sounds so good. A lot of other aging rockers don’t even compare.

Otherworldly. I love it when music and vocals paralyze and cleanse my soul. Plant, Krause, and a mandolin…I’m 68yo and this is badass❤
  • In 2006, I was hit by an emotional tsunami (as a close friend worded it). My wonderful husband passed away, my son was deployed to Afghanistan, I was laid off from a job that I loved, and the engine in my vehicle seized up. This song spoke to me at that time.

Sometimes in life one of a kind voices connect to create the sounds of the gods. Sir Robert is still a voice to reckon with. Alison is an Angel in human form. Such talent these two possess 😊

Robert aged well. He reminds me of what I would imagine King Arthur would look like.

Robert Plant is a Rock Star in every sense of the world ~ A Rock God! I’ve seen him about 9 times counting Led Zeppelin & he is Immortal

Plant has always been a blues singer -- even I, growing up in the rock years from the late 50s to the mid 80s recognized this. So were the early Stones songs, along with The Who and the Moody Blues, and a lot of other so-called "rock groups" who had their roots in the blues. Listen to groups like Chicago, Styx, The Buckinghams, - even the Beatles - etc. -- they all used blues music to enhance the "new" rock genre. It was always new music drawn from old rhythms.

Wow……I think I would have teared up……one of my favorite tunes. Robert is so in tune and in control with his vocals. Aware of what he can and can’t get away with.

We worked the Cajun & Bluegrass festival in the 80s/90s. It was a small festival with 5000 or so in attendance. The stage was a tiny, covered thing only rising up about six inches off the ground. Alison and Union Station closed on that last night. Halfway through their set the power went out and since it was a very low budget affair, there was no backup generator. They finished the set acoustically, moving to the very edge of the stage as the audience scrunched together seated on the dirt. It was a memory.

Watch the interview for Brian Johnson's show where he interviews Plant...Robert looks exactly like someone from long ago...some mystical, legendary place in British Isles...
