Bro Wei’s theories are so good it’s gotten to the point where I feel like I’m spoiling myself 😂
  • @rebbudesu5088
So with this theory, could we assume that the tsaritsa's goal is to collect all of the remnants to revive/rebirth the 3rd descender? And that all the archons have been conspiring with the tsaritsa all along?, to return the authority back to the dragons and challenge celestia?
  • @RubberDucky152
If the Gnoses are the remains of Nibelung, then the Natlan archon quest being called Ode to Resurrection and the nation being filled with dragons may have already hinted at the story being about the fallout that arose due to his death. And apparently the Pyro archon has a secret to tell the Traveller according to the Travail animation, which is starting to sound suspiciously related to the dragon Nibelung and the Heavenly Principles purpose.

Shades themselves don't shine; rather, they can reflect or interact with light. The shine we perceive is often the result of light reflecting off or passing through the material of the shade. Different materials and finishes can affect how much light is reflected, giving varying degrees of shine or sheen.
  • @mistzdeamme4316
So that's why the name of the archon quest in Natlan is called, "Incandescent Ode of Resurerection". Since all that's left for the Fatui to collect is the pyro gnosis in order to revive the 3rd Descender.
  • @woodenmetal2977
This is a very interesting theory, especially since it supports the Tsaritsa's desire to challenge Celestia by gathering all of the gnosis. If she gathered them all, she may resurrect Nibelung since dragons have the ability to be reborn. A reborn Nibelung may just be what can bring down Celestia.

Defeating the heavenly principles is stated to be impossible by both gods and dragons. That's because you can't really do anything against beings who control the stars -> fate. In order to do that, you either need a "power from beyond this world" or the power of the abyss (which is more powerful by virtue of being technically more ancient). That is a known fact by the Tsaritsa and that's why, in addition to trying to gather the gnosis, her country finances an adventurer's guild all across Teyvat in hope that one lucky adventurer could find any lost relic that can access one of those two powers. Or as the guild puts it: "Ad astra abyssosque" To the stars and the abyss. The only people who succeeded in the past, in Khaenri'ah, used the abyss to punch a hole in the sky, mortally injuring Istaroth (her reincarnation is travelling alongside us). The wishing system and the constellations is us literally gathering the still falling motes of divine power -> the arrogation of mankind
  • @Painini
I love this theory! It adds more insight to the motivation of the Tsaritsa to collect all the gnoses. If the theory is true, could it be that the traveler would have to fight the resurrected descender?
  • @worrrywort
WAIT DOES THAT MEAN THAT THE CRYO ARCHON IS TRYING TO BRING BACK THE 3RD DESCENDER WITH THE GNOSIS’ ??????
  • @MrFlip2247
this should also coincide with the Natlan Archon quest (Natlan being a land of dragons) because the pyro gnosis is probably the last one the Fatui need assuming they are still possession of their own cryo gnosis

The 4 wills Creation : Primordial One Sustain: Sustainer of Heavenly Principles/ 4 Shades Destruction: Nibelung seeking Vengeance Protection: Traveler, Paimon said she is the god of protection and she is our guide, she is guiding us towards the path of protection at the end of story

If we combine this with Ashikai's recent theory, I'd like to push it further with this hypothesis. The Primordial One and his Four Shades have defeated Nibelung, who's been mutated by "The Power of Darkness", something I can only assume to be The Abyss. He became incomprehensible and alien to his own realm, thus named "The One Who Came After". After "The War of Vengeance", Phanes has weakened, but found use in Nibelung's remains, or should I say his "constellation"? Just like Ashikai said, the constellation of each Sovereign has a King's Star and the Prince Stars. While the King Star is their essence and power, the Prince Stars make up their physical being. As such, wouldn't it be very fitting to say that Prince Stars are their "remains"? Phanes used the very stars of Nibelung's constellation to forge The Seven Gnoses. A little speculation on my side, but if we also include dawit's theory, it very much confirms that a certain shackled crystal, emanating a "sinister aura" is indeed Nibelung, or rather, his King Star, his Dragon Pearl. I can only assume that even in a weakened state, Phanes reversed the corruption of Nibelung to use his celestial body (get it? celestial like a star) to forge the Gnoses. His King Star, though, was likely nigh impossible to clean of the abyssal power, so he just imprisoned him. That King Star, is what we know as "The Sinner", branded as such for bringing The Abyss into Teyvat. At the current time, Nibelung is either The King of The Abyss, or The Abyss itself.
  • @JulesVante
While reading Neu’s friendship lore, I had the impression that the Primordial One and the 3rd descended worked together to create the Gnosis. It even states that the 1st descended lost some of the grip they had over Teyvat, and regained it thanks to the third one. So they kinda worked together, in a way? Or maybe it was just my own impression, in which case, proceed to other comments lol
  • @dradhypexd1930
genshin story creators be sweating right now cuz wei finna cook and reveal the lore 4 years ahead of when it should be revealed
  • @boba8424
When I tell you all the emotional stress from the archon quest drained instantly as soon as Skirk mentioned that the gnosis' were made of the 3rd descenders remains, I mean it drained INSTANTLY. I sat there for 5 minutes straight to process what she said and after that I reread all the dialogues at least 10 times to completely make sure I'm not missing anything. Skrik the Oppenheimer of Teyvat lore.
  • @Executive14
Fontaine's Dainsleif quest is about to go crazy, if i remember correctly before the Carribert quest ended he said that he have to check some stuff to confirm his speculations on who the Sinner is. If the sinner end up being Nebilung that will be SO hard
  • @EvilQwack
If this is the case, this means that Tsaritsa is trying to resurrect Nibelung. Unfortunately, even if something like this happens, it will only be part of some Archon Quests. After that everything will return to normal. If only Genshin's world also faced destruction like Souls game do, it would have been visually stunning.
