Very cool! Thanks for not talking while filming. No words needed...

The elk have travelled the same path for centuries. Some things should never change.

"Okay...Bob tell me again why you are late to work again!?!? "Man... I wished I had a dollar for everytime I heard (herd) that line!

Their voices….so touching, to watch the males guarding the females so so beautiful. What a blessed sight to see

I vacationed at Estes Park for a week a few years back, and I saw this same scene every day at 4:30 sharp The herd of about 70 was headed to the golf course in back of the motel I was at. The golfers had to stop and hope the elk would move on quickly but that didn't happen. What did happen was they all started laying down and grazing. Golfers took a mulligan 🀣
  • Look at those beautiful creatures. Got all their girls in line! Phenomenal! Thank you for sharing. Even just their voices!! May we hear them forever!!

I love the person in the car that just patiently waited for them to pass.

  • Thank you for this video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the elk from your balcony.
  • I've been to estes park Colorado and witnessed the elk hanging out in town like they owned the place. The police came and taped around where the elk was so Noone could get to close to them. awsome stuff!

A beautiful area in the mountains for sure; I would certainly consider living with elk an 'added value'. Thank you for the video Justin Calkins.

The ELK were actually migrating through there LONG before Those road's and house's were there! 🏑
  • Wow...how amazing and disruptive at the same time. They are beautiful, aren't they?

The elk are smart to be hunkered down in town. They know they're safe from hunters there.
