Johnny just had a way with words. One of the few musicians that never made a bad song. Even when he tried with chicken in black, it was still great. Miss him. Need more people like him in this world.

Rare is there a singer/songwriter/musician who has such depth. Someone like Johnny who really has something to say and not just seeking fame, celebrity, and fortune. A songwriter who writes and sings songs about truly inspiring and meaningful things rather than her last boyfriend and breakup. Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Mary Lou Harris, Mary Chappin Carpenter, and many more had something to say that was real, lived reality not just by the artist but for humanity.

When my daughter was an infant, id sing to her to calm her & stop her crying. The one song that worked every time without fail was, "Walk The Line" 🥲❤️🙏 Thank you Johnny, you are missed.
  • Goosebumps... R.I.P. with your dear June Carter singing together, thank you for giving us so much love and rhythm with your unique and original music and big heart. ♥ Johnny Cash, you really walked the line of glory ♥

Loved Johnny & June so much!
  • Apparently, nobody knew that Johnny would be there that night. He’d be reclusive for almost 18 months, and hadn’t played a show since late-‘97.
  • Loved all of His songs and He is missed very much! His songs will live on forever! 💕!

Thank you Mark Potter for posting! What a blessing to watch❤
  • I'm thoroughly enjoying this fantastic tribute. I had the absolute honour of meeting Kris Kristofferson. These people sang about trying to make the world a better place to live in. Compared to the absolute lack of any kind of sense, songs that are being played now. They didn't play the shows so they could live in mansions of marble and garish chandeliers. They played to shine a light on the plight of the hardworking people. I am sitting in my armchair in my house in Ireland. Today is 26th of July 2024. I would love to know what Johnny, Kris, Wille, Waylon and Merle would think about the caffufill going on now in the country they loved and took so much pride in. You wouldn't have heard any hateful rhetoric from any of them. They wouldn't stand by someone who is trying to bring hatred, violence, and bigotry. All for their own selfish reasons to be the ultimate dictator, just for the power and glory of being able to control the lives of the people who he wouldn't wipe his feet in. Hopefully sanity will prevail and people can still make choices about their own bodies and make their own decisions. Please vote for the right person. 💙💙💙💙💙💙🇮🇪 🇮🇪 🇺🇸 ❤ I also meant to say thank you for uploading the show. Wow so much talent in one building. All singing the songs of a genius and poet.
