I lived at the base of her for many years. Felt earthquakes, dealt with ash covered everything, and nobody was afraid - still aren't! She releases enough pressure every year to keep her grounded

Did 3 deployments to Sicily. On the last one, Etna blew her top. Impressive to drive up to the area of the top. Almost got trapped by a lava flow and had to go down the opposite side.
