Enjoy my video about the Evolution of Keeby and physical appearances in Kirby Games. Keeby is a member of the Kirby species that appears in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Dream Course. Keeby is identical to Kirby in every way except color; Keeby is simply a yellow Kirby. Yellow Kirby, a Kirby that looks very similar to Keeby, has appeared in Kirby series main games, sub-games, and spin-offs. Though they share the same color palette, they are not confirmed to be the same character.

I bet this is the one kirby character everyone just called Yellow Kirby

I remember the fact that Masahiro Sakurai (Kirby's creator and long-term director of the Smash franchise) wanted Kirby to be Pink (which ended up being the case). However, Shigeru Miyamoto (creator of the really popular Super Mario) wanted Kirby to be yellow. That's why Keeby is yellow, since Miyamoto's idea ended up being also used for 2nd player.

This video looks nice. Didn't know that Yellow Kirby had an actual name.

2:40 ah yes, one of the most damn stressful mini games in gameboy version

15:01 it’s depressing that they never mentioned sleep kirby having powers again... and I’m shocked mirror isn’t in Kirby fighter 2 either
  • Seems like a lot of people are confused. This video is a little misleading. Keeby and Yellow Kirby aren't confirmed to be the same character. And for those wondering, no the other coloured Kirbys don't have names.

(2:29 This is so nostalgic lmao) Who is in gen-z, but who can still share the nostalgia with Millenials and Xennials? I feel this way very often with retro games like the Zelda and Kirby franchises.

I remember playing as Yellow Kirby in Kirby’s Return to Dreamland in 4 Player

They have a name finally!!! I can't stand calling them just "yellow kirby" They are all equally as special as Kirby
  • Fun fact: Every Kirby color has their own nickname. Yellow: Keeby Red: Kaby Green: Korby Blue: Kaiby
  • I feel like they need to give multi colored Kirby’s a little more attention
