7:38 really defines the kind of person David is : Kind, patient, empathic, and not judgmental. He could have easly told the guy to p*** off and go away, since how inapropriate the situation was, but instead, he thought that if the man was unable to see just how missplaced it was, then he just had to play along with it, and actually signed that autograph... It's a very rare trait to have.
