I love how you weren’t obnoxious in this video like some people are, and it had subtle humor in it. Super helpful btw. Thank you.
  • I'm a retired hairstylist, and this is the best how-to quick blow dry video ever! Especially the application of product. It's such an important skill. I used to hold a complimentary "Blow Dry 101" class twice a year for my personal clients so they could learn how to do their hair. There is no point sending a woman home with a kick-a$$ hair cut that she can't replicate at home on her own. Well done!
  • What is this...”medium” you speak of?? I have two settings: baby’s breath and dragon’s breath...

Omg girl thank you so much for this video. Simple, straight forward, and easy. Ain't nobody got time for a full salon blowout all the time!
  • Thank you so much for this video! I have a developmental disorder and had never been shown how to correctly blow dry my hair and would always get embarrassing assumptions that I just wasn't washing my hair well enough. Although I went to extra methods to make sure that wasn't the problem. And nobody bothered to investigate further to help me solve the mystery and understand what the problem actually was. Until I happened upon your video this morning, I had no idea I was actually making two blow dry mistakes. It was a huge help and changed everything just to see what to do to fix it!

"just put it on medium, see where life takes you" is my new mantra! seriously though great video.

I'm 55 years old and have blow dried my hair almost every morning for 40+ years and learned 5 new ways to handle my hair from this video. Thank you!
  • Kate, I found you last summer after I had surgery and was recuperating ( nothing major). This type of video is why I decided to follow you!! You have such a wonderful personality and are a fantastic teacher (my occupation). I am over 60 and never knew how to do things with my hair until I started following you. Thank you so very much. 💐

Wow...amazing. A hairdryer seems self-explanatory yet I've been using it wrong my whole life. So glad I stumbled upon this video...thank you!
  • A very well-made video! A tip I always tell my clients is don’t forget to use COLD air at the end to lock in the style and seal the hair cuticle. 👍 Love this! 😘❤️

Since I've heard you say use the medium heat and then followed your ways to apply volumizer my hair looks so much better!!!
  • You have taught me so much! I cannot wait to do my hair tomorrow. I have curly hair so it very dry because of the tools and hair color, highlights etc. I bought the Dyson dryer and love it. It’s not cheap but I earned it. I had breast cancer and beat it

This is awesome, Kate! Learning the blow dry in the direction of hair has been a game changer for me! My hair looks so much sleeker and less frizzy since I started blowing dry the right way!
  • @VioletRaya
Thank you so much for this!!! I’ve never had a big sister or anybody to help me with my hair before. I’m 26 years old and I just got my first EVER hair dryer today!!. I did my research and invested in a salon quality dryer and I’m so excited to use it tonight! Thanks for these tips 💛💛💛

Kate, I"ve been watching you for years! My hair is FINALLY long enough to do a lot of your styles! When I first started watching, my hair is in a pixie cut and I'm so happy I can do these styles!!! Thank you!
  • @annebfprado
I'm about to wash my hair right now so this came in right on time! :) I'm the person with super frizzy/curly hair that you mentioned and I can attest to the fact that going medium heat gives me a MUCH better result than full heat. If you're fighting frizz the last thing you want is burnt hair!! Thanks for always being on-point with the tips <3
  • @sarabrickey
Thanks for the tip on the extra smoothing product on the hair at the nape. The tangle struggle is real!
  • Thank you so much! I felt like I was the only one who didn’t know how to apply products & dry my hair smooth. This is sooo helpful!
