Rangers fans were superb, they were drinking everywhere in Bham yesterday and they were great fun. Jumped in an uber with two of them to the match, that’s exactly how it should be. Excellent atmosphere, best of luck for the season.

Birmingham fan, I have to say the Rangers fans were immense, really impressive, loud, engaged amd fun. Players looked disinterested, perhaps it was a mid week game, long travel and maybe underestimated the amount of investment in Blues ovwr the pre season. I'm sure you'll turn it around, good luck

Another Birmingham fan, really appreciate your praise for us mate. Best away end I've ever seen down St Andrews in the 16 years I've been a season ticket holder, and a great tribute to Trevor Francis today. Just to give you a bit more context to the changes we made though, you said about it being our reserves but there was a lot of players in that playing out of position or genuinely just youth kids with very few senior appearances. Our backline had 2 kids, one was on loan at national league Ebbsfleet last year, the other at right back hasn't made a senior appearance yet. Our 2 DMs, one was 17 and an attacking midfielder naturally, and the other was Tyler Roberts so an older but still attacking midfielder, and we had Jutkiewicz up front who runs in treacle at his age and won't be playing much for us this year. Definitely thought that had a huge impact, meaning no disrespect to Rangers because I know it wasn't your strongest side either by a long way. Rest of that side could easily start for us though. Manager's got us playing some great stuff in pre-season though. Hope it gets better for yous through the season lads.

Not to compare Celtic and rangers but unlike Celtic in the 90s where alot of the work was to build the financial elements of the club, rangers spent heavily from 2016-2021 and wben they won the league thdy realised "oh sh*t we actually have to make the money back" and just stopped investing, chronic short termism

Respect to the 7000+ Rangers fans that come down for a weekday late kick off. I watched you against man united and thought you looked disorganised and light upfront. I can feel the frustration in the fans having watched us (Birmingham) out play you for 60mins. I didn’t see any fight or style in your play tonight and that is concerning. Similar to the man u game. I’ve always followed Rangers as my Scottish club and have seen your highs and lows. However this pre season you have been really bad and id be concerned with the manager and recruitment. I really hope you turn things around and start to dominate the SPL again and have those amazing UCL nights as I’ll be following you this season again along side Birmingham. I can't think of another player for whom the phrase "do your talking on the pitch" applies to more than Todd Cantwell. Even more than when Joey Barton came up here. His career was stagnating and Rangers and the fans gave him a chance and welcomed him with open arms. He has the talent but appalling attitude, has taken Rangers and the fans for a ride and deserves pelters, quite frankly.

I very much appreciated Clement's candour on the absent players post match, but it's a pretty damning condemnation of multiple boards to look at that squad list from 2019 compared to now. With the stadium nonsense on top of a piss poor preseason, it's a pretty confusing and irritating time to be a Bluenose.

My question is simple. Regardless of the starting 11 what’s Clemente’s philosophy? What’s our style? What’s our identity? I honestly can’t see how we’ve moved forward on this front in the last 5 years.

If we can scrape 3rd place this season, there’s a chance we can get 2nd the following.

As it stands, we just look completely devoid of everything. Headless chickens springs to mind. Very concerning.
