  • I’ve done this trip a few times and yet I still get goosebumps boarding. Did it once in a Smart Fortwo which, as I was the lead car off, was an experience. It’s a dark and lonely place in a car that size when all you can see behind you are a dozen forty tonne lorries until you reach Promenade Road and everyone starts going their separate ways!

    Yeah it's a lovely smooth ferry. I was supposed to be coming home from Holyhead on her last Thursday but it was cancelled due to a technical issue so I had to travel on the Epsilon instead. Not quite as comfortable... :)

    I’m doing this run for the first time this summer do you just park up the car then go up on the deck etc ? Sorry if i come across as vacant but never driven onto a ferry before
