This song really hit me today. My grandma passed away from cancer 1 month ago. Yesterday we remembered my grandma and put her ashes I the urn and told our favorite stories of her. When It was my grandpa's turn he broke down crying and said that the first Christmas together she had to go home to her parents unexpectedly and she sent him a letter that said even though we are apart I am with you. I love you. And choking on tears he said "I hadn't even kissed her yet" they have been married for 53 years and that is one of his favorite memories. She was worth the wait.

I lost the first girl I’ve ever loved this year because I decided to start walking with Christ and put off sex. Before I was a player and a f boy but something spoke to me and I decided I wanted to change my life and she walked out because sex was more important than me. My daughter and I heard this song and it really opened up a conversation between her and I. She is 13 and what a great conversation we had about what it really means to wait and how hard it can be. Thank you for this song.

I’m thinking of having this play before I and the bridal party walk down the isle. Like have my FH walk down right at the end of this song. We are high school sweethearts going on 7 years. This song fits us so perfectly. He is the most respectful man I know.

I don’t know if you are a Christian or not Abby but from this song, it sounds like it! I love how pure it is! The Bible says we are to save ourselves for marriage and most songs nowadays promote the opposite and it’s really sad, but your song showcases how it should be! We should wait.
