I'm really sad we didn't get to see or hear him referenced in Halo Infinite. He's way too cool to exist only in books.

The arbiter and the flood are the main reasons why I started loving halo as a kid. Also, Lotr is now canon within the halo universe.

Don't know if you saw already, but Keith David is now voicing Commander Zavala in Destiny 2 going forward. It sucks that Lance Reddick is no longer with us, but he would be happy with Keith David continuing his character for him.

The Precursors transcending from their physical bodies to a higher plane of nonphysical existence sounds just like the Great Journey…

I just had a thought regarding that ending. The Precursors still being alive is a big twist, but I'm more concerned with something else - the dust in the Sanctum is the unmade Precursors. We know that this dust was eventually "corrupted" through unknown means, and this resulted in the birth of The Flood. This dust is the purest form of the Flood, it's first stage. ...and Atriox just got two bags of the stuff. I don't like where this is going.

The suggestion that the Precursors might still sometimes exert influence over the 3rd dimensional parts of the universe has the potential to paint the entire setting in a different light... meaningful look over in Chief's direction

Arby is back! It's great to see him return after nothing since Halo 5! And the murals of Arbiter's history was great, especially his bromance with Chief. I really hope we get to see him in game again, and voiced by Kieth David as well.

It would have been nice if they had Kieth David read this story. Like how they got Steve Downes (Master Chief), Jenn Taylor(Cortana), and freaking Timothy Dadabo (343 Guilty Spark).

That Dust may be why Atriox managed to beat the chief and survived being blown up by Cortana as that would have made him nearly invulnerable.
