To answer a couple of questions. Behind the couch is a large bay window. Also inside the French doors are internal mini blinds for privacy. As I stated in the video I give all the Glory to God as he helped me sell my original house in 2 days, helped me find the perfect builder, helped me find the right place to park it and for sure bless me with the worlds best neighbor. God is Good!!

This design really speaks to me - this is the nicest build I've seen yet. Builds that don't involve crawling around in a loft are going to become increasingly popular as these become more attractive options to seniors. Many thanks to Don for sharing this tour of his home with us - we don't always appreciate the courage involved in someone sharing their choice of living space, which is highly personal. I love how much Don loves his home - and how he gives due credit to his builder, Peter, and "the grand builder," God! Peter must be very proud of his work - and pleased with how appreciative Don is as a client - he mentions Paul many times. Lots of gratitude here - a very enjoyable tour, and inspiring to see how older folks are embarking on a new adventure in living!
