Receivers come in all shapes, sizes, and styles. But every elite pass catcher has one thing in common: Great Hands. It takes strong hands, toughness, great hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail to be consistently great at catching the ball. The best receivers in the world make the routine catch just as well as the spectacular ones. But, just who has the best hands in NFL history?

That's crazy just to think Fitzgerald and Hopkins on the same team now there drop rate in the next few years gonna be some historic low most likely

YES LARRY LEGEND!! Honorable mention Don Hutson he made amazing catches without gloves way back when
  • @DuckyLM
Kinda sad that the man that mentored 2 of these receivers and rivaled another wasn’t mentioned…. CRIS CARTER

Any best hands conversation has to start with Steve Largent. He retired as the owner of every receiving record, and did it WITHOUT GLOVES 💯
  • @dracojoule
You got it right here!! Larry Fitzgerald has phenomenal hands, definitely makes the most impressive catches when you see highlights

Not a mention of Steve largent? I genuinely think hes the best reciever of the 75-83's
  • @Gabepvm3
Larry Fitz does. Simple as that.

They forgot about Steve Largent a receiver who played his whole career with the Seahawks and retired with all the records, Reception record with 819, 100 touchdowns and most receiving yards 13,089 and 177 games with a reception. He proved to everyone that just because he's small and not that fast he can become one of the best receivers of all time that Jerry Rice Idolized.
  • Another thing is the difference in quarterbacks. Larry has had I think only one pro-bowler quarterback pre-Murray(correct me if I’m wrong). This isn’t to take away from any of these other legends, but when you’re a gifted athlete at WR, a good QB will do so much, and a great QB/WR duo is almost unstoppable. But when Fitzgerald hasn’t ever really gotten quite the chance to build that chemistry and he still puts up the numbers that he does, it goes to show just how great of a wide receiver he is.

I have no doubt in my mind that if the Lions hadn’t ruined Calvin Johnson, making him retire early, he would’ve been top 3 WR all time hands down. Or in his case, up. Chances are, he would’ve been an incredibly strong argument for this category. The second he touched the ball, you weren’t taking the ball out of his hands, or hitting him hard enough to make him drop it. He made routine impossible catches, and has the record for most Receiving yards in a single season all time. Calvin Johnson was an absolute beast and force to be reckoned with. It really is a shame the Lions were so horrible to him. I think that he had best hands all time, just wasn’t given enough time to prove it.

I remember one day in 4th grade when a kid caught a ball over the most talented kid in our school and we all screamed mossssseddd!!! For 2 minutes straight
  • @bradymccoy1363
Being a Cardinals fan, I am glad that Fitz and Nuk are on the same team
  • I am from AZ and I have loved Larry since the day I was born. This man is a true legend on and off the field.

I know not enough people got to see Larry play to understand just how good his catches week in and week out were. From terrible QBs like josh Rosen, matt linehert, John Skelton lol. To name a few. But if you want real evidence he had the best hands you just gotta watch interviews of other players talking about Fitz. The cards have a history of bringing in veterans from other teams late in their careers. Guys like emit smith , edrin James So on. And those guys in interviews would say that even in practice Fitz would make catches that made them stop in their tracks.

larry legend has more tackles than he does dropped passes, insane
