This is a very underrated project that not enough people talk about. They really improved on this since it first released. They even ported this to mobile recently which is amazing. This project deserves more love honestly. This really is the definitive way to play Sonic 3 & Knuckles. A remaster of my favourite game is truely fascinating. I am really grateful for this.

This port has so much love and effort put into it, that now even Taxman's ports of Sonic 1, 2 and CD looks kinda outdated in comparison. The overall presentation of Sonic 3 A.I.R. is just beautiful, the menus are perfect and the achievements are a nicely implemented feature. I really hope this gets an official release in the future.

The A.I.R team NEEDS to be hired to work with Christian Whitehead for them to work on the next CLASSIC sonic game. Simply brilliant work on their part.

Too bad that the cutscene that Sonic 3 Complete featured between Launch Base and Mushroom Hill wasn't in this, not to mention the lack of every animations for Super/Hyper Sonic.

I'm not a huge fan of the smoothing effects they are applying to the sprites, but I definitely appreciate the extra animation they add to the graphics like when sonic runs, the coins spinning, etc. And WOW the emerald levels have never looked so good! The original is riddled with clipping, this looks so nice.
