    I had a great honour and privilege to see Kamasi and his band few years back. An incredible experience. Devine love from our brothers and sisters. And here it only gets even better. All his band members are amazing, humble and true masters. But for me I have to make a special mention the true revelation at this show which his alto man. Jesus! Such an amazing sound and solo truly a gift from the heavens! And as for Kamasi. I can only say I'm truly grateful that you are here on earth. Love and peace brother!

    Listen, when Becoming came out, my friends and I talked about how much we cried watching it. This music was the the primary source of the tears. Yes, e are proud and moved by her story. Yet, Mr. Washington's beautiful accompaniment evoked a beautiful emotion. It is so powerful. Becoming would not be the same without it. THANK YOU SO MUCH, MR. WASHINGTON.

    I feel this set is a much stronger performance of the material written for "Becoming" than the studio versions heard on the CD/LP/album. The compositions and arrangements really glisten and shines here. So glad we got this version as a choice !
