"The reason I bought this off Andrew, I know he takes care of his equipment." Hahaha!! I laughed out loud. He does take care of his equipment, but only after he beats the living snot out of it!! But that's what is so entertaining...

"bought off Andrew I know he takes care of all his equipment" XD Hahahaha...

Nice work, Dave! Usually, Camerata 's address is where equipment goes to die, but you rescued this one. Not exactly Applied OCD workmanship, but you reached the goalpost.

As a former pressure washer service tech this was painful to watch and not sure how safe it is with the conversion

Good job Dave! That will deff come in handy in your line of work!

I am surprised that you bought it..... Andrew usually crushes his stuff by running over it with a dozer, or with his mower....... When Andrew is done with something....it is done....so he should have just given it to you.

Hindsight being 20/20 I think you would have been better off getting the 200 dollar transformer, but it’s your machine and you can do what makes you happy. Be careful of that power and water in such close proximity.
  • It's like the lamp that the Genie comes out of - you just need to rub it and when he appears out of the smoke you get three wishes 🙂

Dirt and sand and mud is machinery WORST enemy. Keeping them clean is the cheapest maintenance you can ever do. The paint , the seals, and all other components love it. Not to mention....They LOOK GREAT.

I think I would have tried to buy another coil first before hacking that up to fit a standard one, but let's be fair you did one heck of a job converting that all over to fit a standard blower. Now that you did that I think that is even better because you are not committed to buying them specialty parts for the blower just a standard blower much cheaper to buy them parts, you did one awesome job buddy and if I was you I would be very proud of that converting project. Myself I always dreamed about having one of them, but never bought one because of so much money super love your ingenuity awesome job Dave Mary Christmas to you and your family and keep making these videos buddy I like them a lot
  • Be careful...........the thermostat may not be rated for 120vac as was a 12v dc application, if the contacts weld you will loose temp control.........as far as the inverter, you have two "loads", blower motor and burner transformer, the transformer must run on some sort if AC but a 12v DC motor could work right off the battery.........there must be some "electronics" in the 12vdc unit to get the necessary waveform for a transformer to work and step up 12v to a higher potential 73 Mike K1FNX near Boston

Great job Dave. That took some effort to get it fixed but I'm sure you're enjoying it now and have no regrets. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hey, Dave, all you have to do is get a generator hook it up to the back up it that has wheels on it too. And there you go you got your steam generator that runs The heater

A BIG pat on the back for saving this Beast Dave. I have found another channel now that is worthy of my subscription. Have a prosperous 2024. ( from a Limey in London , Great Britain )

Fixing stuff and restoring them to like new condition is so gratifying. It really grinds my gears when companies make their products increasingly difficult or impossible to fix. Trying to minimize their presence in my life, they don't deserve our money. Hope ur having a great holiday season dude.

On the engine were the oil comes out for oil changes put some pieces of plumbing pipe into it and then put a ball valve on so oil changes are easier 😊😊
