Today we test out some prototype slugs the Ballistic Machinist made about 5 years ago and never tested. He recently found them and decided to let us test them out!

"These aren't designed for deep penetration." "Neither am I, Jeff." Classic.

If Greg says this kind of stuff ON camera, I can only imagine cracking a couple cold beers with him off camera. What a character!

"all girls Midget band" This dudes brain is going 10000miles an hour at ALL times.

Greg with the subtle trauma dump... We're sorry you had to see that Greg.

The fade to black during the Tree Stump bukake joke was editing gold! 😂
  • @PJ_Perry
Greg's humor is Grade A ...it makes the show 😂

To be fair... O.G.'s assessment of the catalogs thickness being compared to adult toy catalogs is spot on! Granger, Grizzly, and Craftsman all have very thick catalogs 😂

I like how Greg starts off on some crazy side story and Jeff just fades to the next clip in the middle. You guys are quite the pair. Great video. Great round.
  • Thanks to the Ballistic Machinist for crafting these projectiles, to the OG for his marksmanship (and innuendo) and to Jeff for the table top, the loading and video work. As a Patreon supporter I think you should use the funds as you see fit. I enjoyed the skull.
  • Greg’s Bukakke Tree Stump story is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day 😂

I've got to tell this story about frog brains. Back in the day, I was fortunate to take high school biology where we had real animals to dissect, clams, crawdads/crayfish, and extra-large bull frogs. The frogs had blue and red dye in the veins and arteries so you could trace the circulatory system. The brain was always pink because of the dyeing process. Our biology teacher was explaining the procedure for using a scalpel to scrape the thin strip of scull away, from between the eyes, so the brain could be removed intact. His comment as he was demonstrating was, "don't slip, or else you'll have pink pudding". You guys slipped and pink pudding! Thank you for another great content video.

The lead plate has become as necessary as gel.

I've been watching this channel since I was in elementary school now Im married with two kids, love that you are still making the vids and never sold out like the rest of the gun channels

My suggestion to remedy the overpenetration in the gel block is to use a lead core with brass petals, that way the powder charge can be kept the same, while also increasing the soft tissue performance with the added weight and deformation

imagine being the surgeon that has to remove the bullet
  • Officer Greg sure has lead a interesting life. This is a instant classic Jeff, a pure joy to watch. Big 10, outta 10 for u on this video. Wicked slug!

The fade to black during OG's band story had me rolling😂
  • @theroller5673
Maybe your best episode to date! Absolutely stellar slug! Top 3 for sure! Excellent marksmanship and humor from the great OG! And phenomenal camera work and projectile building from Jeff! Three superpowers came together for this one! Thank you, Ballistic Machinist, for showing us your skills. Great ballistic skull too! The most realistic one I have seen.

17:15 That skull shot was sickeningly real. It almost looks like something you’d see when snipers rolled in Afghanistan. Devastating.
