Rachel is one in a million Americans who can adapt to the culture, food, and authentic Malaysian cuisine, including durian. Not many Americans can do that.

Kacang pool is fava beans. The recipe originated from the middle east actually but over time modified to local taste.

its typical Malays houses those days. that's what we called village or kampung. we live together in same area with all relatives. Its just like long house or rumah panjang in borneo. family or relatives in same place
