Beating alien autotopsy part III after over 1000 tries is one of the biggest archievements of my childhood. Grandpa's Jeep had AWFUL handling, the thing would spin out of control for nothing.

I know it's a side mission but the one in Lisa's level with Skinner and his mother was pretty hard as well. The hilarious commentary made it worth it every time though xD

Imagine if Kwik Cash had the 3 minute time limit like it was originally planned to have, that would be harder than Alien Autopsy 3
  • Every time I replay this game I make sure that I explore the map thoroughly before doing the missions. I collect all the collector cards, destory wasp cams, collect coins ect. That way I am very familiar with the map and missions are much easier because I know the layout and where shortcuts are. It's essential for this game
  • Tip: In "Set to Kill", in order to get more time to reach Krstylu Studios at the end of the mission, skip the laser stand that's located on the road after the Bowlarama, and collect it after you collect the laser stand on the gas station. Saving you from a lot of brain wrecking moments...

I found each of these less complicated when i’ve watched speedruns as Redneck Roundup, Wolves Stole My Pills etc aren’t necessarily random in item drops. Especially if you follow the same route as speedrunners. This Old Shanty could be saved for late game as you can purchase/collect faster cars. But one you could pull off easily i’ve learned is... in Kwik Cash, you could just lure the armour truck to the monorail stair case and trap it which i’ve learnt from speedrunners. Once again, most are just tedious if you’re not the best driver, but never would I say hard. All in all, best nostalgic game. But a very important lesson to help you all. The reset button is a god send. It will help you dodge traffic, cops about to ram you (just be ready for a quick exit to avoid busts) and cut through shortcuts to save lots of time like the C Spanker in Lisa and Bart 2. Especially in Bart 2 is the C Spanker a useful short cut than you think. You don’t have to take the ramp build up and turn left. Nope, after taking the ramp to board the ship, just before the barrier knocks you to the right, press respawn and not only will you save time, but it can make all the difference in Set To Kill and Kang and Kodos Strike Back

Never Trust a Snake was the one mission in this game I could never beat. I beat Set to Kill (the drive back to Krustylu still is hard tho) and Alien Autopsy III, but Never Trust a Snake was always my least favourite. I remember nearly breaking my Gamecube Controller over that.

The tomacco refers to Homer's accidental creation of tobacco and tomato from the episode "E I E I D'oh"
  • @Yurei.Fox666
TheAverageJonny: enjoys great video game and Simpson’s Also Jonny: “what is tomacco?”
  • Do a top 10 songs and costumes from Hit & Run. This game had some of the BEST music!

Yeah man, honestly the last mission does get easier with repetition, there the Kusty Lu studio mission really requires both luck and skill

If you look inside the Level05/m6i folder (the code of the mission) and it shows this in the Armoured Truck objective portion / / AddStageTime(210); / / AddCondition(“timeout”); / / CloseCondition( ); The 2 slashes mean the game will ignore this line of code, and so ye, thank god they kept those Slashes in, I might actually remove the slashes and try the mission

Fun Fact: Going the backway going towards Krustylu Studios is faster then the main Route in Kang and Kodos Strike Back. The only thing that kept me from chucking my PS2 Controller out the window from Alien Autotopsy Part III is Grandpa Simpson’s hilarious lines. My favorite is “Alright, I’ll work the pedals and you steer”

I have a trick for Set to Kill that may make it a bit easier. I don't know if this is considered a glitch or not. The trick is after you talk to Kristy it prompts you to get the super villan car. Buy it then when your ready to do the mission itll say get in the car. But instead of doing that, go to the phone booth and you can choose whatever car you want to use in this mission. The cars I recommend using is The Car Built for Homer, the Police Car, and the Bandit. The reason why is because all these cars have good speed stats and decent enough toughness to get you through the hit and runs and most obstacles.

As a kid I beat every single mission......except for Set To Kill, that is the only mission I never beat and im so thankful you could skip it

Simpsons Hit & Run was one of the first games I ever had for the Gamecube growing up. And now as an adult, I finally got my hands on another copy. This time, the og Xbox port.
  • @bethkeza
The game was released in 2003. In 16 years of playing this game, I have finally beaten Set to Kill in one try. Not two....One Try. 16 m'fing years!!!!!!!!! That's why Set to Kill is #1.
  • 10:59 Set to kill MIGHT be a hard mission but not is not. Here is why… The next time you do the mission “Set to kill”, when it says “Drive to the Krustylu Studios, when you land on the C-Spanker, press the “Respawn” button and you will land next to the duff brewery. That's why.
