A Day Burns Red and August to Remember are two of my favourite bands.
  • ABR's old stuff was really awesome because of it's brutality, but I like how they've matured. I didn't like Found In Far Away Places at first, but now I'm picking up on so many subtle things I missed. It's a pretty amazing album.

as someone who just saw you guys on tour for the messengers 10 year anniversary... I'm very glad you glad you decided to do it lol

What a great new album! Full of drama and powerful music; a musical touchstone for this generation! A gripping intensity in each song that leads to evocatively expressive interludes, and then all hell breaks loose! Or did all hell break loose before the interlude...in any case, a great album!

Every time I listen to separating the seas I have always asked if they took inspiration from old school Jewish music and it looks like they did! ABR has become masters of incorporating other musical styles in unique ways, and it one of the reasons I think they are so good. All their albums are great, but Found and Phantom were on a whole new level.

I’ve never heard a member of ABR cuss until now wtf

I think an amazing screamer that did carry a melody would be Briton Bond from Wage War, especially on the song Blueprints. Check that shit out
  • @hailnohero
Shit that song Ghosts is pretty fucking melodic to me! Good album, great band :) now listen to Bury Tomorrow if you guys haven't yet <3
