Spoiler alert: Epic Physics. IMPORTANT! Most virtual buildings portrayed in these simulations have been weakened to reflect a worst-case scenario collapse. Do you think earthquakes are the worst type of natural disasters?

I hope my simulations will educate the general public about potential earthquake related hazards and create more curiosity about Earth Science in general. I do also hope that my videos will inspire a future generation of amazing architects, engineers and scientists! We all need to peacefully work together to make this world a better place. :)

My goal is to show people around the world the effects of different earthquake shaking levels on various buildings and structures.

These simulations along with my piano music (Spotify/YouTube: @pardonmypiano

  • Nice summary of some of the best earthquake collapses on the channel. Suggestion. A dutch windmill for destruction could be fun. It s all wood but a xii should fix the job

Oh dear you really are in the same warped headspace as me, picturing everything as a pile of rubble. I'm sure I heard you mention that you are /were a pianist before you started doing this. Could you perhaps improve the music on these videos? With your own performance? OR there are lots of terrific "covers" of songs by The Doors, by pianists, dark stuff. For instance, The Doors - L.A. Woman - Piano Cover...would he let you use his video/performance as background music for an earthquake simulation?

Can you do a video of material comparison with "Steel", "Wood", "Concrete" and "AAC Blocks", please. AAC blocks, which use advanced materials and engineering techniques, provide better seismic performance than normal concrete blocks during earthquakes of higher magnitude. AAC blocks are more reliable and safer than traditional building materials. AAC blocks are earthquake resistant because they are light in weight.

No building will ever survive EarthquakeSim
