Every now and then I come back to this video and just start thinking. Just imagine being in his shoes as an amateur chef and someone who he regards as one of the best in the business as an idol. To receive such a compliment from someone like that is absolutely earth shattering. If you ask me this is probably the best feeling to ever have in one’s lifetime. I myself can’t imagine such a feeling but watching this I can understand why I tear a little is even though it’s not us the emotion comes to us as well. Truly one of the most powerful moments in all of MasterChef Australia

"I Madara declare you the strongest" is basically what Marco said.

"This was the second greatest thing I've tasted, right after Gordon's tears."

This video always makes me emotional, it transcends the feelings of being a chef. It’s the affirmation of all your efforts and hard work from a person you look up too. Almost like someone saying “Hey, you know what you’re doing and your amazing”. Keep up the good work.

When Marco turned 18, his parents moved out.

Mr. Marco Pierre White is the ultimate chef. Receiving a compliment from him now just makes me cry tears of joy. I would never, EVER be more honored than to receive a compliment from him regarding my food. This man is incredibly lucky, and incredibly talented. I'd love to see his future in the culinary world.

Not only did Marco say it was the greatest dessert he'd ever eaten on the show, he compared it to a dessert from a Michelin star restaurant, and he even said sensational. You can't get a better compliment than that
