If you could visit anywhere in the galaxy, where would you go?

Meet the Navis III: An imaginary ship that will take you anywhere in the Milky Way. Its maiden voyage will send you on a tour of the wildest planets humanity has yet discovered: worlds that defy belief, from planetary oases to scorching hot gas giants with clouds made of metal.

This interstellar journey will give us a glimpse into how deep nature’s imagination goes…. and blaze a path for future pioneers, who might one day plant their flags on landscapes we can hardly imagine.

This channel might be one of the best things that has ever happened on the internet. The quality of animation, narration, writing, music... It's far beyond what any other educational channel has ever achieved, and it somehow keeps getting better with time. I have nothing but massive respect for whoever is running this spectacle.
  • @lucy_ano6511
The symbolism of a flag with the palm of the hand is very strong. Melodysheep never disappoints
  • @lilducko
The fact that this channel is free is insane, thank you for making your videos so easily accessible to everyone :)
  • @QuarbitGaming
This isn't just a video, it's pure art. The kind that should be shown in museums and galleries. Every frame is its own masterpiece that's somehow made even better with the music and narration
  • As an archeologist, I find the design of the flag to be incredibly beautiful and fitting. Throughout history, cave paintings often feature handprints that serve as a testament to our ancestors' existence. In a similar vein, the placement of the flag on distant planets or moons can be seen as a message to the universe, a declaration that we were here and left our mark on the cosmos.
  • is no one going to mention the fact that draugr, poltergeist, and phobetor are some of the coolest names for a planet ever?

UNIVERSE + INFORMATION + QUALITY VIDEO + GODLY SOUND DESIGN + SUPER VOICE = HYPER-EXTRAORDINARY CONTENT

In all my years of walking on this Earth, I have never seen a video compel such beauty, marvel, & wonder. The amount of goosebumps I got watching this is impossible to describe.

Everyone who watches this owes you a debt of gratitude for the gift you just gave us. Omg was this mesmerizing, like a drug. Original and wildly imaginative animation, dune like music, poetic script, and a variety of worlds. A true tribute and modern approach to a Carl Sagan style of wonder.
  • There's something about the handprint human flag that is profound. It goes back to childhood, and our first art projects, but on a deeper level truly represents the hands that will shape human history in our galaxy and our exploration of it. Kudos for all of this, my friend.
  • @alexedacurro429
The amount of effort to animate this really goes far and beyond for a youtube channel. I would say it can go on-par with the best studios out there.Kudos!
  • @thecasfaje
Very, very nice video! I’m an astronomer at the observatory of Geneva and it is awesome to see that you included a lot of research from some of my direct colleagues. As always, amazing!
  • This guy is so underrated and makes much better videos than even those of National Geographic. This clip needs to have at least 100 million views, not 1 million

Nothing is more versatile than a creative mind and a multi digit hand.
  • @Seduction149
no words to describe this! This is so much more than just a youtube video. You truly could make a movie out of this as the quality of everything on here is beyond anyones imagination!
  • @TXFDA
Man, this video ended too soon. I could have easily kept watching this for hours. Space is fascinating to me. Just, in general. The idea that there's so many planets and suns, the fact that each planet is different. And there's no doubt in my mind that there's TONS of other planets out there with intelligent life on them. But, as fascinated as I am, it makes me sad that I'll never actually go to space. Never get to see any of these planets for myself. Never walk on anything other than Earth. I'd give literally anything to just stand on another planet for a few minutes.

Whenever I suffer from existential crisis I would start binge watching space-related videos/documentaries. I feel relieved to realize that my problem is just a speck of dust to the universe but also feel worse knowing that a speck of dust is the size of my existence and since I feel negative and positive at the same time, somehow they cancel each other out and I find the balance and calmness once again.
  • Speechless..... Being a physicist this video inspires me .. goodjob
