I hate to be the bringer of bad news but Billy Kametz, the voice of Macaque as well as other notable roles in anime and video games such as Naofumi in Rising of Shield Hero and Ferdinand von Aegir in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, has sadly passed away from colon cancer. He was such a talented voice actor and listening to him as Macaque always calmed me down whenever I was having a rough day. May he rest in peace

Billy Kametz is such a talented voice actor. He really brought life into Macaque, which is one of the many reasons why he's one of my favorite characters. My prayers for him during his time of sickness.

The way he is portrayed as this "viallain" at the start of the series but also his bs telling you he fought alngside wukong makes his voice even more..... MMM 👌

THIS. THIS. Is how you villain. You aren’t only manipulative and condescending to your enemies, but you ALLSSO invade most of the characters personal space. Making it clear what your intentions are, while asserting dominance at the same time.

Macaque doesn't inspire as much fear as LBD does, but whenever he appears (like in season 3 ep4) he makes you go "Oh shit"
