β˜†This is probably my most requested video, so I FINALLY did an updated tutorial of how I sew in my hair extensions. I left my hair out this time because I wanted a sleek and straight look (if you've been here a while you know I LOVE that style!).
You can definitely sew on a closure piece if you don't want to leave any hair out. Grace Hair sent me a closure so I'll be making a wig ASAP. Anyway, I tried to make this tut as detailed as possible so you can practice doing your own hair and do great on the first try. My goal is to inspire you to create, so let me know how I did! I always welcome your feedback. XOXO Jodi

I sewed in some hair that was bought months ago. I just free styled for the first time. For my first time I think I did a pretty great job! I'm never going back to a hair dresser to do my hair. I can do it myself! It sure does save money.

I learned thru YouTube to sew tracks to a cap including the closure. Then I sew the cap all around the perimeter of my head and wham bam boom glam! The more you do this the better one gets. Saving on beautician allows me to purchase higher quality hair that can last 3 years and more with proper care. Thanks for your hair tutorials, they continue to inspire me to try new looks on my own!

very impressive. I have so much appreciation for a black girl with long hair because I know how much work goes into it
  • @edmunda4128
Lmao I'm trying to learn how to do this for my girlfriend. I've done her hair for her a few times, but I always tease her about getting pink hair (getting a weave in). So I just want her first weave to be in caring hands lol
  • I love your work so much u have opened my eye's am definitely going to try this out
  • @geekfreak2000
Wow! I never knew how people did this. I've never gotten a weave myself, so this is super cool to see! It looks great!
  • @tia2648
That was really good! I always thought a sew-in took an EXTREMELY long time and said I'd never spend that much time on my hair but that doesn't even take that long! The most tiring part is the braiding! Thank you so much because the other videos were lame but yours was very organized and had good quality. Nice job!
