I am a Korean and my husband is an Iranian. I visited Iran in 2005 for the first time and there were around 50 family members of my husband waiting for us to greet. wow I was totally shocked!!! then they treated me with all these sweets that when I left Iran after 2weeks of visit, I gained around 5kg more!! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Iranians love sweet stuff! and they have the most delicious fruits in the world!!!!! and the iranian bread called sangyak, the most delicious bread in the world!!! I miss it so much and all iranians are so friendly to foreigners and they love to always give away things like foods and love to invite people to their homes. Iranians have beautiful homes that decorated like the palace.and Iranian ladies are very beautiful ๐Ÿ˜Š

My adoptive father is Iranian and really developed in me a love for the amazing flavors and fragrances that are so prevalent in Iranian foods. I, in turn, raised my own children with a love of Iranian foods. It's funny to see us - a family of lily-white Irish/German Oklahomans - chowing down on amazing Iranian dishes!

Itโ€™s confirmed: the Dads on this channel are all amazing, funny and sweet ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I'm Armenian; hello to our neighbors- Iranians. I was so excited when I saw the title of the video.

Iโ€™ve been to Iran (twice) and all of what Mr. Jafar said in this video is true! Food is spectacular, Iranians are the nicest people Iโ€™ve ever met, their culture is just so great.

Poor Jafar, he is looking so longingly at the sweets while they're eating

My best friend's iranian, and literally his parents are the nicest people i've ever met. Ive known him for like... 18-20 years and still dont know his parents names coz i just call them mum and dad. Such an incredible hospitable people.
  • His name in Persian has four meanings: man name, camel, parsley, city name. There is a poem in Persian: "Jafari didam, ke bar Jafar savaar, Jafari mikhordo, az Jafar gozasht." translation: "I saw a Jafar, riding a Jafar, eating Jafari and passing Jafar.
  • I had an Iranian customer on a service call at 6am some years ago who had tea, dates and snacks set out for me. He wanted to know about my life. We talked for 20 minutes. That's not normal for a satellite installer.
  • @JafaJess
He's so savage "That's the good thing about England, when I first came to this country everything was so bland..." hahaha xD

I agree with her dad, people talk about French cuisine and patisserie and all that....but Persian food is hands down one of the best in the world. The deep and strong aroma and taste is another level. And they make the best sweets/desserts in the world. There I said it!! Their people and their desserts are warm and wonderful. Lots of Love from India. Most of our Indian sweets are based on Persian sweets!! Gabie should do a whole day of cooking Persian food!!
  • @daranaseri
Josh actually pronounced all the persian words preeeetttty good

  • 10:22 Ollie: "I don't know how you resisted eating that" Jafar: "I had whole bowl this morning" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

As a British Born Iranian, I come back to this video every few months, I enjoy the look of joy on Jolly <3
  • Oh my gosh! I LOVE Iranian food! We lived in Iran just before the revolution and really enjoyed our time there. The food is amazing. I had Tahchin once with a neighbor friend and I still dream of it. We had a shop down the street from us that would make flat bread in a stone oven. There is nothing more delicious than walking home with a round of flat bread (noon) that is still hot from the oven and still has small rocks in the nooks and crannies. The smell would waft through out the area. We jumped the fires on the streets at night for Nowruz threw grass into the river as we celebrated the Persian New Year. Good times.
