Its the classic case of the coach not wanting Caitlin to be a 'field general' AND NOW NEEDING HER TO BE ONE. Christie Sides calling time outs , which kills the FEVER's chance to respond back in-like-kind to maintain their momentum to ice the game. Its totally unforgiveable that Christie Sides still hasn't designed an in-bounds screen set & play for Caitlin from an In-Bounds pass.

It’s not the last shot that counts here a lot. It’s how you defend the advantages you have in the last 6 minutes. Coaching staff are terrible and doesn’t know who to place with Angel. The staff blew the game and not the players.

Christy Sides is a career assistant, she is a defensive specialist, but fever is last in defense 2023 and 2024. Christ Sides just allowed Reese to totally dominate her player E.Smith. She also allowed Mitchell to just play and trade baskets with Carter, Mitchell had 24 and Carter had 23 and they had primarily covered each other. She has 2 time all defensive player of the year on the bench, she never took off her warmups. Christy Sides calls every single play, she was responsible for all personal. Christy Sides was responsible for the last 7 minutes of the game.

CC is a great passer, but WNBA pros can't catch the ball (which college girls could and did catch)...

Sides said it in the post-game after the loss to the sky saying she wants her to take more shots, I hope she can take over, I think cc she needs to be more selfish and go back to taking 20 shots if Shes feeling it or the game is on the line, she should have broken the all-time in game assist record in the game. good video I subbed

The problem with the Fever team is some of the players are getting their egos hurt because they know who the star is on their team. They want Sides to allow them to shine and Sides does it. That is why she wants to run the team around Boston and keep Clark in the corner. Mitchell refuses to pass the ball, especially to Clark. Wheeler is the same way. Smith wants to be on another team so she will not play her best. Sides is a joke and should never have been allowed to coach Clark. The only reason I think they are allowing Sides to keep screwing up is because they want first pick in the next draft so they can get Paige, and they are willing to sacrifice Clark to do it.

It's bad enough that Caitlin Clark has to deal with all the hate and jealousy from the WNBA, she has to put up with the most incompetent coach in the league..

Clark had her BEST game (17 points, 13 assists, 4 steals, and 4 rebounds.... should have been 17 assists but her teammates cannot catch passes) then was literally "isolated" from the game by her own coach. Christy Sides is throwing games. There is no doubt THAT is what she is doing. It is so disrespectful to the fans of the FEVER.

If I owned the Fever - Coach Sides would not be there...she has zero clue, coaches are supposed to uplift their players and when it goes wrong they put their hand up and say "that was on us the coaching staff, we will learn and get better..." Sides kills the confidence of her players and has her little crew of players she put on when she wants to undo the gains that CC and co put on...And Sides always throws her players under the bus after a loss..."I really thought Cailin should have taken that shot..." but YOU - coach are telling her to stand in the corner and don't shoot....You have at least 1 player who WILL NOT pass to CC under any circumstance....there is ample footage of that. Fever max contract is a liability and Taylor ( 2 x DPOTY ) should be on the floor...the passes these women are missing is mind blowing - kids handle the ball better than 90% of the W players....Even the Mystics coach would not have lost that game from where they led by 15....CC should be unleashed, either one of two things need to happen - either Sides gets the boot and bring in another coach or CC requests a trade and gets the hell out of there.
