Herodium or Herodion or Har Hordus in Hebrew is a cone shaped Mountain palace 12 km South of Jerusalem and 5 km SouthEast of Bethehem.
Herodium was a palace fortress of King Herod the Great.
Herodium is the highest peak in the Judean Desert.
King Herod was the King that ruled Judea during the time of the birth of Jesus Christ.
