The most likely reason for the dragon dropping only 5 levels is probably because for some reason it was a respawned dragon, which only drops 500 instead of 12000.

Next time, have the entire Color Crew sneak in undercover as certainly trustworthy impostors. Only you know their second account IGNs, so you know which players are definitely on your side whereas the actual hunters have no idea if the players helping you are true impostors or temporary allies.
