A student posted an error message on Reddit asking the very valid question "Why do stupid stupid M&M machines have facial recognition?"

Let's look at the Uni's failure to care for the students and why facial recognition software is not needed in vending machines.

Here's a video of the latest vending machine with facial recognition. It was inevitable that this would happen in America, of course. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OT7-dvqFN8 I've got a face that could win a haunted house competition. Would the machine give me some Death Darts so I could ravish the local wildlife? I can envisage the time when a Walmart store would open up across the street. Then, you can buy an assault rifle of your choice, cross the street, mossy on over to the ammo and shop, pick up some milk and bread, and Google the location of the nearest bank. Thanks for another excellent presentation, Simon. P.S. Helicopter hats are so passe nowadays.
