An airbase housing U.S. troops in Iraq has reportedly come under fresh attack amid rising tensions. On Thursday, the Ain al-Assad Airbase in western Iraq was targeted in a series of assaults. Reports from PressTV indicate that several rockets were launched at the base, with four rockets falling in the vicinity of the outpost. Additionally, another source reported that a drone and three rockets struck near the base’s perimeter. The Islamic Resistance Forces in Iraq have claimed responsibility for these attacks, escalating the ongoing conflict in the region.
