lol my adhd kicked in at 1 minute into the video. 😅 😫😢
  • Time to stretch before and after run. Fill water to drink and decrease sweating before driving. Traffic ends up taking longer….. etc etc. this person still ends up showing up an hour late and is anxious because they have to abide by the horrendous over scheduling all day.
  • I try to do the reverse when I have a particular time I need to be somewhere -- working backwards to determine a realistic time to start getting ready to leave. (It only took me till I was, oh, probably 55 or so to start reliably doing that...) I'm also grateful to Google Maps for giving me a real-world estimate of travel time instead of my ADHD optimism telling me I can do a 40-minute journey in 15. :)

I learned how to do this myself around the age of 20. I would not be able to go to half of the places I plan on going if i dont.

If something takes 15 min, that means it will take 45 min

If you need to make dinner at 17:00, don't go for a run and swim right before. That's not time blindness, it's just having unrealistic expectations of what you can do in a couple of hours...

"Time blindness"... Isn't that just being bad at remembering how long things actually take? Like surely you could memorize it. Saying that, as a software engineer, we're famous for underestimating time. 30 minutes in software dev is more like 8 hours 💀

This isn't a skill you just pushed back the dinner 2 hours. You can't really do that with important meetings and events you arent controlling.

Is this a joke or a meme lol??
