끝없는 이슈 속에 진행된 역대급 오디션 '프로듀스 101'을 통해 국민 프로듀서의 손에서 태어난 걸그룹 아이오아이 (I.O.I)가 10월 17일 두 번째 미니앨범 “miss me?”로 컴백한다.
지난 5월 4일 첫 번째 미니앨범 "Chrysalis”로 정식 데뷔한 이후 광고, 방송, 공연 등 각종 섭외 1순위에 오르며 데뷔와 동시에 뜨거운 관심을 받은 데 이어, 지난 8월에는 7명의 유닛으로 발표한 싱글 “Whatta Man”으로 공중파 음악 프로그램을 비롯해 각종 음악 순위 프로에서 1위를 휩쓸며 신인으로서는 유례없는 성적을 일궈냈던, 국민이 pick한 그룹 아이오아이 (I.O.I)!!
5개월 만에 발표하는 2집 “miss me?”는 그동안 11명의 완전체로서의 모습을 그리워하며 기다려온 팬들에게 '아이오아이가 보고 싶었어?'라고 물음과 동시에 '앞으로도 아이오아이를 그리워해 줄 거지?'라고 물으며 오래도록 아이오아이가 기억되길 바라는 마음을 담은 앨범이다.
이번 “miss me?”는 타이틀곡 '너무너무너무'를 포함해 '잠깐만', '내 말대로 해줘', 'PING PONG', '음 어쩌면'까지 총 5곡이 수록된 미니앨범으로, 그동안 뜨거운 관심과 사랑을 보내준 팬들에게 보답하기 위해 쉴 틈 없는 일정 속에서도 한 층 더 업그레이드된 모습을 선보이기 위한 소녀들의 노력도 함께 담긴 앨범이다.

I don’t think any produce groups had this many talented members. The rap line, vocal line, dance line and visual line were all immaculate. The rappers can all sing and the singers can rap. It isn’t just group of dancers that look pretty

IOI was really big before. In fact, the original copy of this song, which was uploaded in 1theK’s channel, reached 100M views in just a couple of months after its release. (take note that kpop was not that big at the time). It was just taken down after their disbandment and now that it’s re-uploaded, we still got the views! IOI must come back, indeed.
