  • Went to the Maze Overlook in 1995 and Doll House in 1996. Epic. It wasn't until we were at the Doll House that we noticed the insurance on the hire 4x4 did not cover off road :)
  • Our camp at the DH was magical, almost spiritual. Full moon and very still, no wind the whole time we were there. A long hike to the river almost killed us though.
  • There in 2001, also camped in DH #2. We trailered to Hans Flat Ranger Station and parked trailers there off the road. 4 days total. Also did the Maze OL. We slept in ground tents. My buddy pitched his on the top layer of his fold down trailer. This was before “overlanding “ was even a thing in the US. Enjoyed your video very much. Keep up the good work!!

I’ve had to cancel plans twice the last two years for family stuff. We haven’t been since 2014, can’t wait to get back.

You never know about Utah weather- sometimes it can be very windy. When we were at Dollhouse 2 it was very windy. We had to put our table and stove right against the vehicle to even think about doing some cooking.

Trying to not be too negative, but I realized the colors were too vibrant when I saw your red face in 4K. Once I turned it down to HD, everything looked normal. You had an awesome trip, and it was very well documented as usual .
